Amkhu, the Hollow King

Records of Amkhu's rule over an ancient, once-great kingdom to the east are scarce. Many scholars believe that Amkhu was a divine being: one of Solenyr's angels sent to Gil to rule his faithful with light and justice. Over the ages, Amkhu saw his subjects suffering from sickness, war, and wear. His prayers to Solenyr for healing and justice were met with silence. Little is known about Amkhu's fall from grace, or how his corruption started; but the war that followed left scars on the land visible even today. Legends tell of a vast hoard of wealth buried beneath the eastern sands - protected by the undead legions of a dead and forgotten civilization.
